A Minister named the system. Two contracts signed.

Ministerial visits

1

Minister Elanor Boekholt-O'Sullivan — Volkshuisvesting en Ruimtelijke Ordening.

"The Liven World approach was presented — a system that takes technology, wellbeing, community and mobility into account from the start in designing residential buildings."

Minister Elanor Boekholt-O'Sullivan — Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning · LinkedIn, 11 June 2026

01 / The visit

A working conversation, not a photo-op.

The Minister walked the Living Hub on 10 June. Not a protocol round — a working conversation on industrialisation, affordability and the role of the State. The next day she chose her own word for what the practice has been building.

System. Not "project." Not "concept." Not "approach." The word a Minister chooses, in her own paragraph on industrialisation, is the word that travels into how a sector talks about a way of building. System is the brand's own vocabulary — it sits in the brand book, it carries every italic headline, and it now sits in the Minister's voice as well.

That recognition is what a Minister can offer: not money, not contracts — language. Once the language travels, the things the language describes become legitimate to commission, to capitalise, to scale.

02 / The signings

Two contracts on the floor, witnessed.

Provada is for many the moment to widen the conversation. For Liven World it was also the moment to make two concrete commitments visible — both signed on the stand, both moving into build.

Construction contract

Continental Car Parks — Mobiliteitshub Randstad 22-1, Almere.

811 parking spaces, six levels. Façade design by MVSA Architects with integrated greenery. Structural engineering by JVZ Ingenieurs. The hub is what makes the residential build in R22 possible inside the parking norms.

Bert Jan van Beers, Liven World · Nils Ordelmans, Car Parks · 10 June 2026.

Cooperation agreement

MAECONOMY — partnership formalised.

A formal cooperation agreement giving the MAECONOMY relationship a standing basis. A next step in the partner ecosystem around the first Liven World projects.

Signed on the Liven World stand · 10 June 2026.

03 / Three threads

What the floor told us. Three patterns.

A hundred conversations across three days produces clear shapes. These are the three threads that now sit in the follow-through and shape the next quarter of work.

Thread 01

Net congestion is the question every municipality brings.

Almost every wethouder, energy lead and area-development director raised it. AMPER, part of the Liven World stack, holds the patent (NL 2029006) — no new cables, additional capacity. The answer the sector has been waiting for, named and protected.

Thread 02

Investors want experience, not just yield.

The question is shifting. Less "what is the yield" and more "how will this place feel in ten years." The Wereldbewoners approach landed visibly inside those conversations. The investor reframe is no longer a thesis — it's an active demand-side signal.

Thread 03

Speed and quality don't have to choose.

50% build-time saving with VDL De Meeuw and MVSA, without trading lived quality — the most-cited number on the stand. Industrialisation as a route through the affordability constraint, not around it.

04 / What this case shows

Why this case sits as evidence.

Most practice work is hard to evidence because the result of place strategy is a building behaving well for a decade. That timeline is longer than any press cycle, any sales cycle and most fund cycles. So the practice has to surface its own evidence in shorter loops — moments where the work meets the world and someone independent puts a word on it.

Provada 2026 is that kind of moment. A Minister naming the approach. Institutional partners signing on the floor. A hundred conversations confirming the threads. Recorded here as a case so it stays referenceable when an investor or a developer asks, six or twelve months from now, what the practice's track record looks like.
